Cutting Hardened Steel

    We scanned a couple 100+ year old Keys for an old house and machined them out of hardened steel.

    Then, we send for Black-Oxide coating.

    Rare wood.
    Some silly project for a Dentist...
    No Sprues.
    We machine One side....then fill with Stone.
    Flip- and finish other side.
    Part pops out without sprues.

    Bought this last week for $4000.

    Primacon CNC 500. (3M Lava mill)

    We will convert it to 98mm disk.

    Horizontal Spindle, not a Vertical mill.

    ur you able to get Sum3D postpro for CNC500?

    Yeah. We are making 98mm disk holder right now actually.
