    Hi!

I have a question about flex license. How is it exactly working? I was told, that there is a fixed yearly fee, no matter how many modules I have. There is just one time module adding fee. Is that correct?

No different modules different prices but for the modules you have theres a fixed price but this price depends on which you have

Is there a higher yearly fee, when you have more modules? The last answer is hard to understand.

each module costs a yearly fee so five modules cost more than two after 3 years you reach the point where flex is more expense compared to perpetual with update contract

So what is the point of that really? I still pay yearly update exactly like with perpetual license: dongle + any added module. Is the yearly payment cheaper with flex?

the initial payment is cheaper with flex the yearly fees are higher the overall paid price is after 3-4 years higher than the same with perpetual very simple . Is it cheaper to buy a car or to rent ?? you can answer yourself !!

Thanks for clearing that out. Because like I said, one reseller is telling me that I have the same yearly payment no matter how many modules I have. Did not believe it.

Is the yearly update fee the same as the purchase price for basic and addon modules?

When you pay the yearly fee all updates are included.

My question is actually about the update fee. Is it the same as purchase fee for the first time or is it cheaper? For example if I pay €1,690.00 for basic module + €280.00 for implant + €140.00 for articulator on purchase, are the prices same when paying on the second year (extending)?

Is the update price similar to perpetual license prices being a bit pricier or are the updates a lot more pricier?

The annual fee for flex / Upgrade for perpetual is cheaper than buying a new one.
The perpetual upgrade price is cheaper than the annual fee for flex.
The purchase price of a new flex module is cheaper than perpetual.

For flex, replacement of a lost dongle and deactivation of modules are available, which are not available on perpetual. There is also a stand-alone version (flex only), which includes DentalDB + module (for example, only ModelCreator), but does not include DentalCAD.

No. You can stay with what you currently use, but if you want to update you will have to pay a fee(whatever that might be) plus the update fee. I prefer to budget and pay every year so I can keep up with the improvements.
