Is there anyone who can help with the extension STL to attach the articulator for I-Tero Left like on the side of the picture with the printed models and or 3Shape ?
I use Excoad Modelbuilder. The Models are printed at www.3dmedicalprint.com in Austria.

    This is my Itero procedure.

    Taken from Itero intraoral files.

Please take a good look at selections. (38) Will also work on hollow models :)

Add upper, lower and alignerbolt. Again, take a good look at selections.(lock on xy)

Align everything. All objects can be moved. Make sure you have a good connection to the models.
When done, click once on aligner bolt, and hit delete on keyboard.

    And VOILA :)

You got working itero models. Doing it the same way on 3shape.
Have not learned how to do both automatically :-(

So did you measure the set distance between the iTero articulator mounting points and make your aligner bolt to those dimensions?
You should be able to add the coordinates to the xml file for the attachments.

    I have measured =38.00mm
Have not figured out how to do this automatically. If i put both in one file, it will not work.
If i move one, the other should move with it. I have no "original" double mounts to compare to, so i figured this manual solution would do until my level of knowledge rises :)

Maybe @Till can share some knowledge on the topic?

Thanx for the feed-back, do you know where I can get the I-tero connection info/file to import in my own exocad libary ?

@Rune sorry to come back to you once more.

I'm still struggling with the I-tero extension positioning on the model.
I can attach the I-Tero uppper - lower parts to the upper en lower model and also the aligner bolt, but they're set standard to an angle of 45 degrees to the model. So I wan't to change this but the problem is that I can't manipulate the attached parts.
I can adjust them vertically but I can't rotate them. I several times contacted the helpdesk from my Exocad supplier Cadstar in Austria. They couldn't help me out and they contacted Exocad.
They said I-Tero doesn't allow to manipulate this, it's one way or another locked ???
Very strange.... but I'm stuck :-(

    Easy :)
In exocad you can rotate the models on z-axis (plane rotation- not upside down)
It's not obvious in the beginning, but you will get used to the procedure.
In the window where you position the models in height, rotate them.

I normally have to rotate the models 180 degrees to get it right. (labial side rotates to dorsal)
This is due to how itero places the models in the 3d universe.
Let us know how this works out, and let Cadstar know that exocad is superriorrocking

Thnx I'll try, I was at the lab today and made some screenshots.
I hadn't red your post yet, so these pics are for before reading your post.
    I'll try it next week.

Does anyone know where I can get or download the itero model attachment for exocad? Also curious to see if there are other model attachments available that's not included with the initial exocad software.

Glad to see you finally got it. Looks like you saved the Upper and lower attachments as a single stl file rather than individually.

I think Rune has been captured by the Russians and is being held against his will in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
