This happened to me last week, 2mm bur slipped a little and gave me this. Remilled with no problem....Cost of doing business, whatever...

This week I see this puck and I'm thinking...…… What if?

So I put the puck back in the mill, opened the file in Sum 3D and lowered the restoration 0.4 mm in the Z axis so the bur would mill 0.4mm deeper in the puck (0.2mm wasn't enough).
Then I selected the Finish exterior top line, did the Tool-path computing and Post Processed that one line and this is what came out of the mill

Before you say anything you did read where I re-milled this last week, right? This one is not going out, just wanted to see what would happen.

So how did it fit and function after sintering it?

I would think the fit to the model should be fine because nothing went wrong milling the bottom section.

The top however being 0.4mm lower I'm sure would cause the bite to be off a tad, a little added porcelain or spotting in the bite should take care of that.

We may never know because it's still in the puck, I just don't have time to mess with it.
