I LOVE motors, motorcycles, drag racing, motocross/supercross, Moto-GP, etc.

Not watching so much....actually doing it.

I have raced amateur moto-x and arena-X with Two sons for about a decade.

    Had a few street bikes.

Recently bought a couple Yamaha FZ-07 bikes.

    LOVE THEM!!!!

Sounds like a Subaru WRX with the cross-plane crank. (potatoe-po-pota-potatoe-potatoe sound of concussions)

Torque is amazing at low and mid-range. Power-slides and Power-wheelies in 1st &2nd easy.

    Used for $5000-$6000

    New for about $7k

    I also just bought a Yamaha FZ-09.
Triple-cylinder monster bike for cheap price!
I paid $5500 for a 2015 with less than 800 total miles on it.
This bike WILL pull up the front wheel at 100MPH in 3rd gear with just the torque alone.
Roll-on throttle in any of the First Three gears and the front wheel will come UP!

In Europe, FZ-09 is same as MT-09, or the MT-07

One is Twin Cylinder, other is a triple.

Both weight about exactly 400 lbs.

One has Steel frame, and other Aluminum

Employee "Don" wrecked One Friday, and is in hospital day #4

    Crushed his leg.

Needs titanium rod inserted I think? Really smashed.

Bike is easy to fix. Needs forks and few plastic panels.
    I ordered. $600 and good-as-new again

2nd time to fix this White FZ-07

One son wrecked it 2 weeks ago. (Trouble son that does Heroine and makes me crazy!)

I am ordering same damn parts, plus more this time.

My youngest Son is responsible. "Trevor"
He drives a Subaru STi and his new bike and no tickets or trouble.
He is 18, other kid is 25. Same wife.
His FZ-07 was wrecked and he will take mine.
I am upgrading to FZ09 and it will be here Friday.

    So psyched about it!

    Sure! Why not?

(They are heavy for One. 50lbs or more than FZ-09 or Brutale)

Or I'd prefer the MVAgusta Brutale 800 Dragster myself if going to that price range.

    Wicked Triple-banger! Very light-weight.

Sha-POW!!.....BUT, double the price of the FZ-09 that I bought. :(

    Hope don will be ok.
I crashed mountain biking 4 years ago and sport a titanium rod in rt leg. Busted my femur in two places. Now my rt leg is 1.5 mm longer than left. Never been the same.

I get the motorcycle love. I raced an RM 500 26 years ago and had a Honda FT 500 single cylinder thumper. Lots of fun. But nothing like the beasts your talking about. Quit riding when I started having kids. Didn't want them having to wipe my A-- for 40 year as I have more than one old riding buddies with broken necks. But I do miss it. At 54 now I may buy a Harley at some point. But I still have young kids so maybe not. Scott those are some beautiful bikes.

My youngest son is now half-foot taller than me and 18yrs old with motorcycles license.

It is time for me to ride again!

(Sure, I broken many bones and have some Titanium myself. Also almost died with blown-out chambers in my lungs. But, I accept the risk and must ride! BwwwaaaaahH!)
